A Romantic Winter Reception at Habib's in Dearborn┃Maysa & Kassem┃February 15, 2025

Our very first event of the new year was Maysa and Kassem’s reception celebration! The couple already had their ketab kitab, and wanted an evening party to dance with friends and family on Valentine’s day weekend.

When Maysa reached out to me, she sent me some screenshots from our instagram of some of our most fun photos with friends and family surrounding the bride and groom on the dance floor. Specifically, they were searching for someone who could really work with the indoor lighting at Habib’s. Omar tagged along with me to assist and keep up with the lights as we moved around the massive banquet room. The bright flash balances out the yellow tones in the room, and lets the subjects on the dance floor really shine. With their friends and family surrounding them in traditional circle dances all night, I think we delivered the vibe!

One of my favorite parts of the celebration was the cake that was handmade by the brides father. Not only was it so big and gorgeous, but it tasted as good as it looked! What a truly special and heartfelt touch.
